Founder and CEO of one of the earliest personal computer store chains, (CompuShop, NASDAQ: CSHP, 75 stores in 14 states at the time of its acquisition by Bell Atlantic in the mid 1980's). Approximately 20 year user of Linux, but mostly Ubuntu's various GUI's - some CLI, but not much. Currently have three operating computer systems - an HP laptop running Debian 12, (with KDE Plasma desktop); an old ASUS running Ubuntu 22.04 Server; and an Acer Chromebox. I also have a Pixel 7 running the latest Android OS.
Although having been a founder in the personal computer industry, (and even operating a few of earlist cell phone stores), the rapidly changing capabilities of personal computers and smart phones has left me floundering in the wilderness of obsolete technology. My knowledge is often surpassed by the greenest noobs.
