Started writing C code during the age of BSD on VAXen. Lucky for my career that UNIX/Linux has been so successful. I've been supporting scientific computing since the early 90's. I did a brief stint at Loudcloud. Since 2001 I have been supporting life science researchers.

In my spare time, I practice analog photography. I have my own darkroom and process/print all my own work.
