Booting linux from usb using EFI
I need to use a USB drive as an installation media for my Mint and Ubuntu.
For that I have unetbootin to make the usb bootable.
But my PC only supports EFI boot (while adding the boot device, I need to provide an .efi file path etc).

EFI boot to Linux on a MacBook Pro
8,3 MacBook Pro 2011, running Ubuntu 11.10 amd64.
Here's the situation. Screen backlight and a few other things only work if booting in EFI, so I need to boot Ubuntu in EFI to get things working.

Problems with Grub and rEFIt in Fedora
I used to run my Macbook in triple boot - Ubuntu, Fedora and Osx.
When I turn the computer on, it goes to rEFIt menu and I could then choose between the OS's.
