A printer (Brother HL-2280DW) which is able to do double-sided print.
In the printing options I set to do a double-sided printing, but sending data small enough to fit on just one side. The printer goes an infinite waiting for the next page... The original printing happen if I send another document or hit 'Job Cancel' button.
Does not matter which application does the printing (web browser, pdf viewer or LibreOffice Writer). If you print just one page of the document - wait, hit 'Job Cancel' and hope the page actually in the printer's buffer or you would have to repeat a printing attempt.
This does not happen on a longer documents. The three-page documents are successfully printed from the first attempt.
Disabling double-sided printing for one page - also solves the problem. But it is annoying to go every time into print settings and think: this document is many pages - can do double-sided, this one - one page, do not forget to switch to one-sided.
Any ideas how to solve this strange and mildly annoying problem?
Printer itself is old, I know. But drivers are the freshest ones directly from brother's site. So please, do not suggest a new drivers.
